Apple data security on iCloud

Is data secure on iCloud service? Does iCloud meet security standards for HIPAA certification?

Apple has not released the security certifications for iCloud. HIPAA is a set of U.S. rules/standards for security and the Dropbox isn't currently HIPAA compliant. I think that the iCloud will have solid data security protection.
